Keeping it in the Family for Five Generations

In the late 1800s, Edward Joseph Walker started making toffee in a small sweet shop in Longton, Stoke-on-Trent. People from the area loved to buy his famous slab toffee, which was broken with a special hammer and sold by the quarter.

He used only the best ingredients to create a unique toffee recipe that we still use today. His toffee and the little hammers are important parts of our business.

We are proud to make our tasty toffee, which is why we only sell it under the “Walker’s Nonsuch” brand.
